A drive into country VIC

It all starts with a visit from a friend overseas. As we all know thanks to this cheeky little virus we can’t really go anywhere.

Generally, as a typical Australian. Travel to us is getting on a plane and going overseas Asia, Europe etc: because of this, we don’t see our own backyard here.

Understanding this you could see why all of a sudden when someone from outside Australia turns up you go and see some sites around town which you wouldn’t normally do ever.

These friends of ours (wife’s friends) was taken out to country Victoria. We drove about an hour and a half away from my home to Warburton. Which is northeast to a place called Redwood forest.

The forest is worth seeing if you are willing to do the short drive out of Melbourne. The forest has a wonderful walking track and a beautiful clear creek running nearby for you to look at.

Once this nature show was over we had to eat of course. What better place to take some international tourists to a bakery to eat typical Aussie food. We had meat pies and sausage rolls. The meat pies were a hit but the poor sausage roll not so much.

Once the feed was all over. It was time to hit the road and head back home. Overall the day trip was a success and everyone enjoyed the day.
